Children's drawings sent to 'Nysgjerrigper' in the 1990s all depicted men doing laboratory research. Many drew 'mad scientists' and there were no drawings at all of female scientists. More than a decade later, 'Nysgjerrigper' has checked children's attitudes to research by organising a new drawing competition - Draw a scientist!
